Please join the URI Doctor of Physical Therapy students in an informal discussion of the top legislative issues facing PT in our state this April 3rd. 

PIZZA AND BEVERAGES WILL BE PROVIDED

Who: PTs, PTAs, PT/PT

A students, PT/PTA faculty, RI APTA members, local & state leaders

What: informal discussion of issues facing PT in RI, over pizza 

When: April 3, 2019 from 7-9pm

Where: URI Department of Physical Therapy

Why: because you care! Build your knowledge of local issues in physical therapy and learn how you can get involved and make a difference in the profession.

Each April, DPT students across the country host National Advocacy Dinners to address and promote local issues facing PT in their state. Help URI DPT students get involved with advocacy on a local and national level by attending our Dinner on April 3rd.

Speaker: RI APTA President, Jason Harvey

Issues: unfair copays, PT's ability to order diagnostic imaging, physician authorization for school PT - and any other issues you want to bring to the table.

Raffle: Earn raffle tickets with additional donations to the PT-PAC.

What to bring: your appetite - for pizza and for PT advocacy! If you have any questions about our state's PT issues or how you can get involved, bring those too.
