The Mission of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association is to promote the profession and advocate for the needs of those we serve

Strengthen chapter's identity as one that promotes and develops its members as proactive, committed  professionals in realm of practice, research and education.

Maximize value to membership by facilitating communication among peers, enhancing professional development, and managing resources in a responsible and fiscally sound manner.

Safeguard the role of the physical therapist and physical therapist assistant in practice and educational settings on a local and national level.
