SIG Chair: Erin Sayles

Dr. Erin Sayles, PT, DPT is a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She has held many different positions throughout her time as a student. She served as the Core Ambassador of Rhode Island before being selected as the Chair for the Student Assembly’s Advocacy Project Committee where she, along with the other members, organized the first virtual National Advocacy Dinner for all PT and PTA students. She also served as the Special Assistant to the Vice Speaker and the Student Delegate for APTARI at the 2019 House of Delegates. She is a founding member of the Early Professional Special Interest Group and has been a part of many different groups within APTARI. These include the Annual Meeting Planning Committee, RI Student Assembly, and the Public Policy Committee. She also has organized many different events for the members of APTARI including National Advocacy Dinners, the Second Annual Run Your Life 5K, and a conference for all students in New England.
