Foundation for Physical Therapy awards first Center of Excellence for Physical Therapy Health Sciences Research

This groundbreaking $2.5 million grant was awarded to Brown University. Principal investigator and director will be RI APTA member, Linda J. Resnik, PT, PhD. Brown University received the funding on February 4, 2015 to develop the Center on Health Services Training and Research (CoHSTAR) over the next 5 years. The Foundation for Physical Therapy has announced that the Center on Health Services Training and Research (CoHSTAR) is accepting applications for postdoctoral fellows. Application submission and acceptance will operate on a rolling admissions basis. Fellowships may be based at participating CoHSTAR sites at Brown University, Boston University, or the University of Pittsburgh. Terms could begin as early as July 1, 2015.
